Twitch recently rolled out the ability to stream in 1440p using the HEVC encoder.
I do have access to this feature.
So, what's the issue?
When I enable Enhanced Broadcasting in OBS, HEVC is missing from the encoder dropdown tab. The only available option is AMD HW H.264 AVC.
However, while the stream is live, the Twitch stream info/stats show that it is actually running on HEVC.
How is this possible if AVC is selected in OBS?
Is this how it's supposed to work?
Does Twitch secretly select HEVC on its own?
